Well, it was a beautiful day in Northwestern Ohio. Jill and I (along with #1Chloe_dog) ventured out to Pearson Park, a part of the Toledo Metropark system, located in Oregon Ohio. You could not have asked for better fall weather. Blue skies and temperatures in to low 60's. Gorgeous!
We walked about half of the 624 acre park, including the Wood Thrush Trail and the Black Swamp Trail. Their were a myriad of birds to be seen today. I don't have a total number of birds seen, but we did see the following species:
- Wood Thrush
- Ruby Crowned Kinglet
- Yellow Crowned Kinglet
- Yellow Rumped Warbler
- Cape May Warbler
- Hairy Woodpecker
- Downy Woodpecker
- Red Bellied Woodpecker
- Northern Flicker
- Robin
- Blue Jay
- Tufted Titmouse
- White Breasted Nuthatch
- Black Capped Chickadee
- Goldfinch
Fall is in full swing here. The trees are turning and the leaves are falling. I hope my photos can do justice to the day. As always, thank you for visiting my blog. Brett
